Improvisation techniques. One of the best ways to get any vocal group more confident and skilled at rhythm, pitch control, and interpretation/dynamics.
Repeatedly, I have received inquiries to I could teach the improvisation techniques I use to choirs and other vocal groups, ranging from a one-rehearsal crash course to a multiple month trajectory.
Although cases are similar, no vocal ensemble, choir, or singer is a standard case. Consequently, I offer custom made courses to suit your vocal ensemble or choir best.
An effective mix of information and hands-on exercises will have the participants leave the rehearsal with their vocal technique, confidence, and improvisation skills boosted, and with the tools to continue improving afterwards. Optionally, I include a focus on teaching the techniques used, so the ensemble or choir leader(s) can take my place when the course ends.
